I'll be honest I don't own a PS3 and I don't want to own a PS3 but I am an avid racer and help run a gaming site so I have an open opinion on all gaming.  One thing has really been bugging me and I want to see if anyone agrees with me about it.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue....

Lets all be honest here it is a demo as in a demonstration of the full game.  But here is what bothers me, its a $40 demo that shares the same content as the full game.  Why is this a problem?  Other then the fact that not only did you pay $40 you also will still pay full price for GT5 when it comes out rebuying the same content.  You know its all fine and dandy for gaming journalists who will get to play GT5P FREE while your going to pay almost full price for a racing game to play a DEMO!.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy it or that you shouldn't enjoy it just saying that you keep in mind the fact that its a $40 demo that you will be paying another $60 for the same content your already bought when buying the full game.  Go spend an extra $20 on a real game like GTA IV, GRID or even MGS4.  I know the PS3 is low on good games but this is ridiculous.

Well i do agree with you iin a way but don't you feel like you are beating a dead horse. In my eyes GT5P is better than need for speed , PGR3 only played PGR4 demo so won't go there. Tracks are limited and it offers only a taste of the full game but considering the game is over a yr away, the 40 bucks i paid for prologue won't really have an effect on me anymore. I guess its hard for you to see since ps3 has no good games and you don't want to own one so to each his own i guess

Will you be saying that when you buy the full game and have to buy the same content you already paid $40 for.  AKA you just paid $100 on one game.

No hatred here i'm just voicing my opinion and if I had any hatred on it then I would only put it towards the publishers for charging this much for a demo and ripping off their fanbase.

I would like to see why the original poster does not own a PS3.

i stopped reading right there. why do you feel the need to come onto a PS3 forum to express yourself when you have no interest in the PS3 and its games?

He's just a forza fanboy here to promote forza. If forza is so great why didn't it pull GT numbers? Every strength in forza is over rated. Physics is overrated even with the 360 calcs per sec it handles slightly different from GT5P but unless you have driven the same cars you can't say sh!t. Car manufacturers send their engineers to PD to help them with the physics and here you are trying to sell me some silly nonsense. Forza damage is overrated so just give it a rest.

Like i said with its 40 dollar price tag it is still better than most of the racing games out on the market. As is right now GT5 will completely murder Forza 3 if they don't step their game up

Because I neither have the money or the want for one.  I own an Xbox 360 which is good enough for me right now but I have many friends with a PS3 and i'm usually asked my opinion on the two.  I don't own a Ford GT either but that doesn't keep me from giving my opinion on FordGTForum.
