Hi fellow PS3 owners, and others? This is my very 1st thread so excuse me while I get used to the code of this (N4G) forum. Firstly, congrats to Sony for surviving it's worst publicity, in it's history with regards to the mis-launched PS3. Many hailed it's demise, and the word DOOMED was mooted in almost every anti-playstation forum. Now look at that boy go! Developers are getting comfortable with the hardware, and now the only way is forward. Just prior to GTA 4's release here in Europe, Sony announced it's 10.5 Millionth (sold to Joe Public) PS3. Thats an encouraging figure considering it was hugely over priced for it's 1st 9 months, and had few killer titles. Sony survived where others would have failed. Go google PS3 and you will see it is the most discussed, and has the most anticipated software scheduled in the VERY near future. Ok, we're all still waiting to go HOME, but it is coming, and when it does...well, i'm sure it will be phenominal. NOT forgetting PLAY TV and the incoming VIDEO DOWNLOAD service. True, many will say Sony are like 100 miles behind XBOX Live, Yes that is true, but consider MS has had a 7 - 8 year workable infrastructure. Atleast what PSN users have to look forward to, outstrip any other system. I would like to hear from other PS3 owners on their home set-up. I personally have a 42' Sony Bravia Plasma, and recently installed a 160GB HDD as I make full use of the PS3's Media capabilities. I am thinking of getting a mid-budget 5.1 audio set-up, and would like recommendations for 2nd high qulaity bluetooth headset, wireless keyboard and racing wheel with full gear stick change for GT5 - Prologue. I own 15 games since March 07 launch. My current top 10 : Drakes Fortune GTA4 War Hawk GT5 - Prologue Motorstorm COD4 Unreal Tournament 2008 Assasins Creed Orange Box Burnout Paradise I admire the quality of this machine, i'm sure there have been faults with it, but overall the machine is a fighter. Many consoles that faced the barrage of negative press during the 1st 9 months that PS3 faced, would surely have sank. Hats off to MS and Ninty this Gen, but my faith in my purchase and the quality of my collection makes me care less, every month. MGS4...Kojima I salute you! & Sony, keep wearing that 'S' on your chest....you're finally coming good! Thumbnail Image
