I really wanted this game to be good. If it keeps getting bad reviews I'm switching my preorder to Battlefield Bad Company.

1) lol

2) yeah, this wasn't a preorder for me, so the hit and miss reviews confirm that it's best if acquired used off ebay.

I am totally pissed off. All this time waiting for the game and it may end up being Lair with guns. Other scores may be higher but this isn't a good sign.

I think at this point for every game you can just throw the top and bottom 10% of reviews in the trash and look at what's left. Either one is just making a play for traffic.

If it scores even 70 overall I'll give it a go. The PS3 really needs a good exclusive. I know MGS4 is coming out but we still really need another one.

I know it's sort of a niche market, but you should reallt try Eye of Judgment. The wife and I love it. We'll put down a few drinks and play some EOJ to pass the time once the kids go to sleep.

omg...5.8 is too far...

How is that even possible? Even the demo wasnt even that bad.

do what i do,

read the reviews for the content and don't pay too much attention to the score. i usually read the good and bad about a game and if there's a demo that makes my decision much more easier. if you enjoyed the demo and its gameplay and are intrigued by the story line then go with that gut instinct.

i've played lots of game that scored ridiculously high and didn't like them at all, while i played games that scored really low and really like them a lot.

reviews are someone else's opinion and being that it can never decide if the game is one that you would personally like yourself.

i know it's hard because we don't want to spend $60+ dollars to come away having to trade it in, but if you're really having a hard time then rent it and if you enjoy it enough and want it for the multiplayer then buy it used.

For god's sake, do NOT switch it to Battlefield: Bad Company.

That game's got worse design than the most shallow shooters out there.

Exploding trees?

COME ON!

Oh yes it was. It was very bad.

Horrible textures, bland lighting, uninteresting dialogue and horrible voice acting, LOW polygon environments and characters that was VERY noticable...

This game could have easily run on the first Xbox, minus a few effects here and there.

Don't get me wrong, I love my PS3, but this game is NOT a system-seller, nor is it high-production. They tried.....but failed.

EB Games has a pre-order special. If you buy the game and don't like it, you have one week to return it for a full credit.

With BBC and MGS4 coming out there will still be a good selection of shooters. Enemy Territorry Quake Wars is out in about a week.

I heard Quake Wars looks like doo-doo on the PS3.

That pisses me off.

I'm just going to stick to the PlayStation franchises from now on.

Everything else is just disappointing me very much.

I remember hearing that ETQW was the worst looking PS3 game.

That's basically what I read and saw screenshots of.

Those screens were NOT pretty.

Yes. Battlefield: Bad Company has trees that explode on contact with anything they hit. Watch the videos, see for yourself. It's almost embarrassing to watch, because of how stupid it is.

I honestly don't believe those guys played the game fully. They didn't cover online at all or vehicles or any details you couldn't already figure out from watching gameplay videos
