I have been looking everywhere but cannot find a single Article/News that states how many hours will it take for us (Gamers) to beat Assassins Creed II, So i though i'll ask for help here.

My guess for a straight run through is 12 hours, and 100% is like days. But that would be just for me.

Watch the E3 gamespot interview. Also read the IGN preview from last week. Both say around 20 hours with out side missions. Edit: We need an AC2 hype thread.

Hopefully they will fill those 20 hrs with something worthwhile doing. As much as I loved playing through the same scenario over and over in the first one, there wasn't as much depth as there was polish in the first game.

Ubisoft’s Renaissance-era stealth action title Assassin’s Creed 2 is understandably one of the most anticipated games of the year, and all you have to do to find out why is take a look at the game in action. And while I totally dug the first game, I understand the complaints regarding the repetitive mission structures and lack of depth. Fortunately, Ubisoft is looking to remedy those mistakes in the sequel, as well as beef up the scope of the entire experience. During a massive Q&A session held on the company’s forums, Ubisoft confirmed that the “core of the game will be longer than the 20 hours it took in the first game,” as reported by VideoGamer. On the topic of gameplay variety, Ubisoft stated: “We have developed several different optional gameplay that will add a lot of depth to the whole experience and will also extend your gameplay time in a very significant and meaningful way. As for the exact number of hours it will require it’s still too early to say!”
