Did anyone else see it? I thought it was one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen. From lines like "I want you to deflect, or reflect what you are saying to me inorder for me not to absorb it" to the stupid love between the characters, it was one of the most poorly writen screens ever. Why does the old guy suddenly go A-Wall, why was almost every moment of the movie so predictable, to the freezing of the old man  suit,  the ol;d man becoming the enemy, and that robert downey jr will sudenly fall in love with the perosn he was with for 10 years. The CGI was amazing, but the movie didn't really have any humor (at least transformers was funny), and was a huge disappointment. Acting, Script, among many other parts were terrible.

Wow.... you have some really off-the-wall taste if you thought this was bad and transformers was better.  I mean.... wow.  This is one of the best super hero movies ever made... literally.

transformers was at least funny. This was predictable, poorly acted, and terrible. I laughed at most of the transformers scenes. This movie wasn't funny..

Do you have an awesome black Sabbath song as your theme song? What... What? Is that a no? Yeah, I did not think so... Once you get your own awesome theme song then you can talk bad about iron man.

Since when is an actuan movie supposed to be funny?  It had the right amount of humor for a comic book movie.

What Poor acting. Robert Doney jr. is one of the best actors ever. Here when I saw the trailer for this movie I did not even know RDjr was even in the movie. lol.

Robert Doney jr is really good in this movie. He is basically playing himself besides the superhero part.  The only time it is supposed to have to funny parts its because they need comic releif.

If you are looking for a comedy don't watch Iron Man watch clerks

The movie was not bad but it was not all great either. most likely a 8/10 and I got hopes on the second one to be much better.

about the acting, I though it was really good acting...

Yea, these type of lines are what makes a movie
Tony Stark: We gotta go. Come on, move with me. We got a plan, and we're going to stick to it.
Yinsen: This was always the plan, Stark.
Tony Stark: Come on, you're going to go see your family again.
Yinsen: My family's dead. I'm going to see them now, Stark. It's okay. I want this.

Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: Tony, you know that I would help you with anything, but I cannot help you if you're going to start all this again.
Tony Stark: There is nothing except this. There's no art opening, no charity, nothing to sign. There's the next mission, and nothing else.
Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: Is that so? Well, then I quit.
Tony Stark: You stood by my side all these years while I reaped the benefits of destruction. Now that I'm trying to protect the people I've put in harm's way, your going to walk out?
Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: You're going to kill yourself, Tony. I'm not going to be a part of it.
Tony Stark: I shouldn't be alive... unless it was for a reason. I'm not crazy, Pepper. I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it's right.

Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: [after Stark's one night stand with Christine] I have your clothes here; they've been dry cleaned and pressed. And there's a car waiting for you outside that will take you anywhere you'd like to go.
Christine Everheart: You must be the famous Pepper Potts.
Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: Indeed I am.
Christine Everheart: After all these years, Tony still has you picking up the dry cleaning.
Virginia 'Pepper' Potts: I do anything and everything Mr. Stark requires. Including occasionally taking out the trash. Will that be all?

This is disgusting how people could actually think that this is how real people talk. This makes fantastic four series look good...

The movie was only as bad as your mind allows you to think it was.

All things in life can be a pleasure if we learn to shut out what we think and know is bad and sometimes take things for whatever they're worth. Even if they're only worth a little.

Remember, Richard Feynman said: There is no little bit of information, no matter how minute, I'd rather go off not knowing.

Here is another line
""I want you to reflect, deflect, or reject whatever you are about to say in order to not absorb it"
:D .
This turd was terrible. I never even knew what, or who iron man was, expecting this to be good, because of critical acclaim and eneded up terrible. It wasn't my perspective (I enjoy ratatouille, and almost every movie), but this movie was far from god father 2, or batman begins.

Dude your insane, Iron Man is easly the best Marvel super hero movie ever now, beats the crap out of Spiderman, it was funny in so many parts.

Like when he tells the robot arm that if he sprays him while he's not on fire he's going to donate him to a community college. Priceless.

do you really want me to go through transformers and pull out all the bad writing, like oh I don't know everytime one of the robots talks.

Jazz: You want a piece of me, huh?
Megatron: No, I want two!

Sam Witwicky: Why don’t you go sit sit in that seat there?
[nodding towards the driver's seat]
Mikaela: I’m not going to sit in the seat he’s driving.
Sam Witwicky: Yah… You’re right. Well maybe you should sit in my lap.
Mikaela: Why?
[rolls eyes]
Sam Witwicky: I have the only seat-belt here… Safety first.

Optimus Prime: It’s you and me, Megatron.
Megatron: No, it’s just me, Prime.
Optimus Prime: At the end of this day, one shall stand, one shall fall!
Megatron: You still fight for the weak! That is why you lose!

Sam Witwicky: I bought a car - turned out to be an alien robot. Who knew?

Keller: We’re facing war against a technological civilization far superior to our own! Our enemy can take any shape! They could be anywhere!

Mikaela: Sam! No matter what happens, I’m really glad I got in the car with you.
