Status: offline 		Didn't know which board to put this on, so I chose this one since it has twice as much traffic.

Some people need a 60" LCD flatscreen, surround sound everywhere but under their ass, lights out, volume up, and their vibrating, speaker-including futuristic-looking chair to sit in to enjoy a game.

Some people only need a drink and a bag of chips.

How do you game?

Personally, I always play on my 42" Sony LCD in my dark, cold abyss of a basement. I always have my picture set on "Vivid" to really make the colours pierce and deepen. Mmmm, extended plays of Uncharted or Ratchet & Clank really are rewarding with the right picture setup.

I find pizza and beer complete the experience, especially some heated online play. Sometimes I like juice and some salt 'n' vinegar chips or snow-white sugar dougnuts and milk.

And I love gaming with my g/f. She loves games too, but it's always priceless when even the demo of Condemned 2 makes her jump! (She's so cute!)

i've always preferred gaming from a TV and couch. I've only recently gotten a good sized HDTV and 5.1 system and i just love it. good audio really immerse you into the game. it just feels better slouched on a couch and gaming with a controller then bent over a computer.

i don't like gaming from 1-2 feet from a screen, so i've never like PC gaming. i find it uncomfortable and it seems like it'll kill my eye-sight. i also don't like wearing headphones to get my audio. so console gaming is more relaxing for me and i doubt i'll ever get into PC gaming.

Status: offline 		I have a 360 hooked up to my 32" panasonic HDTV I sprawl myself across 2 big beanbags and put on my 5.1 surround sound gaming headphones

Status: offline 		I need a smaller screen, and for it to be in my face to game well. I use a 19" 1080p LCD screen, HDMI audio and video, right up in my face like a computer monitor.

If I'm gaming in my main room, I use a 60" 720p TV w/ surround sound, but I actually prefer the smaller screen, unless I'm playing splitscreen.

This.

72'  1080p, 7.1 Surround PCM rocking out vibrating the entire room, lights off in the dark, comfortable couch and wearing my hat.

If it's not this, I can't take it seriously. I'm more of a cinematic gamer, this is also how I enjoy my movies.

Status: offline 		Playing GTA 4 on Rockstarts $3000 leather sofa on a 101' TV was sweet; some companies have crappy beta test areas.

Anyway I have a 48' Sony HD TV with 7.1 surround system downstairs, whit a 36' Sony TV in my room, same surround sound speakers.

I play in dark for scary games, light un-scary spots, or what ever for the hell of it.
I play straight through and no I don't wear an adult nappy/diaper, I hold my pee.
I'll get plenty of food and drink close to me.
Edit, of cause 360 and PS3 are HDMI ready (yeah, I brought an Elete.)

Status: offline 		I game naked with a dogtag chain and a pot over my head when im playing war games. If i play a kung fu game i wear a headband and spike my hair up and wear one of those karate shirts w/o pants. and any other game i just play them naked

Status: offline 		It doesn't matter to me, as long as i'm comfortable.  Right now i've got a 47in LCD with ambilight that I play my games on.  All while laying on my couch.  :)

Since the tv has PC inputs I usually use it a monitor when playing games or watching movies.

Status: offline 		I game with my PS3 connected to 24" LG LCD via HDMI. Waiting to get a 5.1 or 7.1 system to connect the audio, but for now, it's headphones.
