Give them something to cry about, then after they've ran out of tears, give them the why-being-an-emo-is-pathetic rant, and maybe, just maybe, they'll realise how ridiculous they're being. If it carries on, then I'll just be disappointed in them, take the piss out of them, and leave it at that. To be honest, I think making a fad out of depression is insulting to those who actually have real problems, and deal with them day after day, keeping their mouth shut, getting on with it. We live in a generation of whiners, kids need to be toughened up. A good beating every now and then could go a long way... Nah, I'm just kidding, I wouldn't raise a hand to my children. Still, I would find it as annoying as hell if they were to become emo. Emo culture is still a very American thing now, so it's even more pathetic to us Brits.
