If you guys, like me throught this was a lie, I just got the same Email. Seems like I was lucky though, my delivery estmates 12th/13th thank god.

lucky you. so does that mean some orders won't be filled on the 12-13th?
i didn't order from amazon but i know people who do

Am I missing something? I thought 6/12 was the confirmed date since earlier this year, and that's exactly what the e-mail says. What am I missing?

If you look on this sites home page, you'll notice some poor guys been told he's got to wait till 17th not 12th.

From the look of it they got more pre-orders than actual games and they will have to delay until they get more stock. We need to wait from a good few more occurrences before we know for certain. On play.com they has the same problem for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and had to wait a few days.

If there is a delay it will be on the Kojima podcast tomorrow.

I spoke to Amazon via phone and they said that their Pre-orders where so great, later per ordes than Januarry might have to wait up to 3 weeks. I pre-ordred before then and even I'm subject to delays.

konami is going to focus on game retailers, gamestop,slackers, best buy,circuit city, or any where else. i don't do online pre-orders. i'd rather pre-order it at gamestop and walk in
