Status: offline 		So a couple days a ago I got my first tattoo. I left the bandage on the first day and the second day I couldn't figure out how to properly put the pics I took of it into a thread :| but now I would like to share with you guys!

I decided over 2 months ago that I wanted a vintage Toronto Maple Leaf logo (the current logo is in my avatar) on my right calf. It hurt quite a bit...but what really bugged me was how extremely uncomfortable it was.



This is when I got up the day after. It had been about 20 hours before I decided to take the bandage off.




As you can see I had to rip off a lot of tape and a lot of hair to get the bandage off...ugghh




This is moments after I took the bandage off and as you can see there is some run off ink and it looks a little messy. This is pretty much the first time I took a good look at it too.




And this is after the shower and after all the excess crap gets washed away.


lol my leg looks pastier than usual because of that patch of hair that was shaven off. Maybe I'll update in a few weeks when the hair is grown back and everything is normal again.

It hurt when I first got it, and the few hours after that it basically felt like an open wound. Since then I really haven't felt anything...only the tinest bit of sensitivity. It is supposed to get itchy and scab but I'm not allowed to have any kind of lotion of it to moisturize until Saturday or Sunday. Hopefully there won't be much pain or itcheness.

I'm extremely happy with how it turned out and even though its just a sports logo it means a lot to me. With Sundin most likely gone this season may be worst season in recent memory...all the bandwagon fans are long gone and even some of the die hards are becoming more interested in the Rapter and Jays.

are you planning to color it in? it looks bad just as a stencil.
filling it in with color hardly hurts because they use more needles and if you've got the outline already during that time it pretty much kills off much of the nerves already.

The NHL will fall before Toronto doesn't have hockey team named the Maple Leafs. Even though we haven't won the Stanley Cup in over 40 years, we are the richest team in the NHL...lol no one's being moved.

Status: offline 		its not done yet right?  are you going to fill in the outer band of the leaf?  and the letters?  I also assume you chose blue ink instead of black, it might have been a better choice.  The black ink I got about 10 years ago, has turned a little greenish in tint.

That's what I originally planned to do...and when I got the estimate I assumed they were going to colour it in. But when the sketch was drawn she said she wouldn't be colouring it in and that I'd have to come back another time for it.

lol I hope it doesn't hurt as much when I go back.

But if I colour it in I still want the focus to be on the letters..not the leaf...I dunno yet :S

I can go colour it in at a later date. If I do the letters would stay the same just pretty much everything else would be coloured in. But I really am not to sure about continuing...hmm.

They haven't won the Cup, or even been to the finals since 1967. But they have been to the conference finals 3 times since then. Aslong as I get one win in my life time I'll be good.

Status: offline 		I would color in the outer band of the boundary of the leaf, i would color in the leaf skeleton, and I would color in the lettering, but leave the middle blank.  You dont want too much coloring in, cuz it all blends together after a number of years.
