So I've been thinking how awesome are casual/indie games. Games like pixeljunk monster, everyday shooter, zuma, peggle, among other games are just brilliant. Most of the time nowadays I've been playing either these flash games or indie games, due to their obvious superiority in gameplay than those 60 $ retail games.

The best freeware game of recent times is Bonesaw by Kyle Pulver.

I have said like 8 times on  these forums that the gameplay of silly indie flash games > retail games.

Good thread though I don't consider Zuma and Peggle much indie. They belong to a big casual company.
Everyday shooter and the rest though are indeed indie classics.

And Wii's WiiWare games... World of Goo and that Winds game are AWESOME.
