Pretty cool. I wonder how accurate the remake is going to be. Remember, the first Friday the 13th didn't even have Jason. Either way I can't wait to see this one. I'm a horror junkie.

They was meant to be a Freddy vs jason 2 featuring Ash from evil dead

Still would be cool to see Jason VS Mike (Halloween)

I can say I have seen every Friday the 13th movies

A remake could be good if Rob Zombie made it

Anyone watch his remake of Halloween? It is awesome to say the least.

.... just check on this director Marcus Nispel he did do Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake which was only okay for me I hope he doesn't screw this one up

The originals in the series were good but as more and more sequels came along they progressively got worse.

Please tell me you are kidding? The Halloween remake was one of the biggest disapointments I have evr seen in remake history, and that is saying alot. The Shaky-Cam was over-used, except for a few choice characters no one was worth watching. They all only seemed to be there for either their own deaths, or to be naked for their own deaths. The script was nothing new. Acting was barely there. Never mind the fact that Rob Zombie didn't even seem to care what his characters did. He just seemed to want to make the movie seem controversial inseatd of actually telling a story that gets into your head. That is why the original did so well. The stpry was so simple that you could imagine it happening anywhere at any time.

Is there really no more original ideas in the world? Is this what we have come to? Nothing but sequals, remakes, and now reboots? Is this because of the recession? No money to make any REAL movies anymore? Wake me up when someone actually has an original thought out there.

Elitest? Why? Because I expect some quality in movies? No moviesare being made unless there is no risk at all to the producers wallet. They need to start taking some risks. There is a reason that The Dark Knight is the first movie i have seen in theaters in over 10 months (since resident evil 3).

If that makes me an elitist than that makes you a bottom dweller. We are paying for these movies to be made and we are getting pure sh!t in return.

Sorry. The movie industry isn't as bad these days as you'd like to think it is and it wasn't that good back in the day either. You're acting like another generic victim of rotten tomatoes/imdb/someassholesblog.

Try watching a couple of movies without reading what you're supposed to think of them online beforehand and you may find you'll enjoy them. And before you go talking about how everything used to be so much better "back in the day" try actually sitting through some of the so called classics.

Also, don't bitch so much about how the whole industry is just out to take our money these days. Movies are a business, that much is obvious, but we happen to be lucky enough to live in a time when people can actually make a decent film without benefit of some major studio backing them up. That was never the case before computer technology made amazing editing tools available and affordable for everyone.

BTW I was half kidding before you decided to get your panties in a knot and call me a bottom dweller.
