Thats the beauty Kevers. Its punishing.  You get this accomplished/satisfying feeling with every single fight. How many games do that anymore? Don't count it out man . Try it.

I agree. Its especially annoying when you need to go to your sister's birthday dinner but you cant find a freakin save point so you have to end your play and do it all again when you get back home.

I'm getting pwned in the second section. F'ing ass dragon. Pretty fun but difficult game. I'm amazed at how many people died by falling off.

I can't wait till you scrubs reach around my level so I can pwn you guys :P.

 

I would love to see what alot of people did if devs decided to go back to making the majority of games like this again.
 
Honestly after having played Demon Souls for a few hours now I can honestly say I serverly miss games that actually challange you. So many games just take you buy the hand and walk you through everything, then when you die it doesnt mean jack because there is no consequence for dying.
 
People are satisfied with being spoon fed these days, it's like when you go out to play sports now as a child, at the end of the season everyone in the league gets a trophy because "they tried" sadly second best doesnt cut it in the real world, and too many kids are growing up these days thinking that the world owes them something.
 
I'm getting off on a rant so i'll stop, All I can say is next time before you buy a game do some reasearch before you buy it, every single thing ever written about this game tells you it's really difficult and why it is. Don't complain because you decided not to look into something before buying it, just common sence.

well dude, u have it all wrong. I did get it based on my opinion. I just did not watch the reviews. I saw a few clips of gameplay from youtube months back and pre-ordered it. so idk what the hell you and that other dude are talking about. And no it's not that we are spoiled lmfao. .. can't someone just like  games with forgiving checkpoints man? Damn it's not like we all like to much of a challenge or like to spend hours repeating one level till you master it. Sure back in the day, but times have changed pal. get over it.

Word to the wise go through Stonefang Tunnel first it's easier and the boss there is just as easy, the second area of The Castle of Boletaria has it's own challenges but all in all you can level up in Stonefang Tunnel first.

first of all remember the story.
The nexus is your prison. when you die you are not in soul form and when you go back to battle its a butterfly effect.
 
its supposed to be the same. every death is unavoidable.
when you go back its up to you to make the right desicion or get the butterfly effect.
