i played the game when it first came out and for some reason i just couldnt get into it so i decided to buy it again today before i got the second one and for some reason it sems so much better, everything stands out, the gameplay seems refreshing than the first time and the wow factor that i never had, has anybody else felt like this?

Maybe it was all the glowing reviews the sequel is getting that made you appreciate the first one a little better.

I don't think that the reason he is enjoying the game is important... I'd love it if I could enjoy a game just because somebody tells me to.  

Also, 'rebuying' something again is probably a bit redundant, no?  Unless you are saying that this is the third copy that you bought...

I had a friend like you once, he talked about how he liked things cause they where reviewed in magazines well, yet 2 months before hand when I told him he just said "Its alright" yet cause some f**king words on a page say otherwise it becomes AMAZING!!

I hate sheep, make your own mind up.

These dudes are harsh attacking this guy for no reason at all lol. If you gave uncharted a second chance and like it more now than you did before thats great. It does not mean he is a sheep either it means he has changed his mind. Humans change their minds quite often so that is a possibility.

Also, I know most of you are kidding, but I hope none of you actually have a problem with somebody liking a game after reading more about it.  Games are meant to be enjoyed, and if reading hype/reviews about a game increases the enjoyment you get from it, then read away.  Plus, people often like games more after taking a break and playing it again in a few months anyway.  It makes it more refreshing, I suppose.

I can't tell if this post is serious or sarcastic, but if it is serious would you care to elaborate?  

it was serious.  what in UC1 has pushed the genre?  nothing i could tell by playing it.  what has UC2 done to push the genre?  i wont be able to make a judgment til i get to play the game for myself (hopefully i can get my hands on it tomorrow).

sure, story telling, cut scenes, and animation are great things to immerse you into the game, but im more focused on game play.  i want something that pushes the genre to new heights.  not a rehash of we have already played.  im sure UC2 will be a great game, but i want innovation.  i want developers to take chances.  which doesnt happen on consoles as much as i like.
