Status: offline 		I dont get it so many people will imediatley declare it a bad game if
  • Its not open world or there isnt many paths
  • if its not exactly like halo or Cod4 and if it is its accused of not having new ideas
  • If they use mostly dark colors
  • if the guns arent  that unique

its 6 months from release and people are judging it like it out

as you can tell im mostly talking about killzone

i dont get why killzone as amazing as it looks is getting all this crap from people.

Status: offline 		people will always nit picks games up until the release as if they know full well what they're talking about. Just ignore them, I think the game will be fine, but who knows, its not out yet.

but not just killzone but every game with a dark setting. people say that its not creative and its too much like gears of war.

so what your saying is, that its a linear shooter without any kind of polish or advancement that Halo 3 and COD4 made, its color pallet consists of greys, and the guns are uninspired and generic?

Sounds like a winner to me

Well that's what happens when the press industry sets silly standards. It's actually unfortunate that they do things like this for the simple fact that personally, I've barely played gears of war, and I what i did play, I wasn't impressed with.

Really, I just sit and wait. They said Dark Sector wasn't a great game and I really liked it in the end.

Status: offline 		I dont really care to nitpick unless its something major. I mean chances are its going to be pretty good. I'll just be playing it alongside gears of war 2 and Resistance 2 while everyone fights over which one is better lol.

Not every game should be open-world/sandbox
and l like the guns (exspecialy that long ranged shotgun thing) and not all have been revealed to say that they are all the same

and Dark set games is whats been selling good, but the point of this is that too many people are judging it based of the first 10 minutes of the first level and they said that each level will be about 50 minutes so the rest of the game could be very different

There are people who are being overly negative because people are having all kinds of geek-gasms over some silly trailers and saying it is going to be the best thing since sliced bread.

That's all I can come up with since there is very little information out there about the game.

I think its just people are eager to say its either better or worse than their game of choice.

However i am optomistic for the game.

Status: offline 		People say Killzone 2 will suck because reviewers gave Killzone 1 bad scores.

Mind you they probably never played it.

Also they say the AI will suck because Killzone 1 AI was bad.


Please go play Killzone: Libertation on PSP. The AI is really good. so is the game.

and about the AI they still have 6 months thats more than enough time.

Status: online 		hype is what's wrong with it.  If any game gets attention there will be a group of people who will say it's the greatest thing ever and a group of people who will say it's a flop waiting to bomb.  Nothing we can do other than wait for the game to come out and either play it or not.
