As for L4D, I think you're jumping the gun a little... You can't really base your view on a game by it's length... As you pointed out yourself, the levels are meant to be played multiple times - meaning replay value. Six to eight hours is average for games of late, as well. If they guarantee replay value, then that's a good thing. Chances are, though, that a lot of people will just rent this title... That isn't spam! It's a cheeseburger in a tin!
