Just finished watching the "Gadget Show" here in the UK, which is a highly rated and well watched weekly show.  LBP was well advertised as the No1 Game this christmas for kids and Adults, showed lots of in game footage as well, a good 5 minute showing.  Excellent.

Nah... I know loads of people in their mid-30's through my Dad, and I still don't know anyone who watches that show. Plenty of people I know are more than capable of affording more than a PS3 for their kids, too, so you can't use that against me. Maybe it's just regional differences...

That's really weird. Literally no-one I knows watches it. I've only seen two episodes myself, neither of which was enough to make me want to go back and watch it regularly.

The point I was trying to get over was basically some good advertising imo to shift some PS3`s with Parents watching not to say other people can not afford PS3.

I don't know about the UK, but Sony needs to bring back the "Do You Want It?" commercials.

In the Metro paper yeh there was ads for 360 and PS3 games apart from that I usually see Xbox 360 ads on the TV rather than PS3 games.

That's all I ever see, too... Ironically, they advertise the Movie service yet show the price for the Arcade system.

i just watch it here (lbp part at 19:30) on the channel five site
and wow they promoted it allot, he was saying if you dont own a ps3 buy one now for this game and he said it was for all ages.
to bad the gadget show is on channel five and not allot of people watch that channel, it is still one of channel fives top shows so it should get quite a few views

I dont think this particulear item was in any way designed to advertise games on the behalf of sony. the gadget show would not profit in any way by doing so, they gave the equal amount of air time to other platforms. If anything IMO the snowboarding game for the WII looked like it would be the better buy.
