I think so. Its not mega awesome stuff but it is still nice to have. I wish sony could get rid of the xmb interface its very boring. Hopefully i can boot up straight into the news service so i can check out world news before launching a game

Yeah I would like that too.  I agree with the XMB is neat and all but something else would be a welcome.  Launching right into news would be fun for me too I know others wouldn't like that so maybe an option for it but that would be slick idea.  Either launch into home/news/or main.  I don't think XMB will go away seeing they are using that for pretty much every device they have.

Am I the only one here that thinks the XMB is fantastic? It certainly beats the other two consoles', at the very least.

I like the channel set up on the Wii personally and the blades are well organized for 360.  I just find the xmb a mess and to many sub menus and no quick/easy access to things.

I guess it's all up to taste then. I just think it makes perfect sense, the way it's all set out. And, it's very distinctive.

I love the XMB; it's easy to use/see/understand everything.  It's very logical and straight to the point.  Just my two cents

Yea, it really is, but Sony needs to reduce the amount of ram it takes as we were just freeing up some, adding in game xmb will just add a whole new set of stress to the PS3 for it....also, xbox'es interface is allot smoother and quicker loading, also because of its reduced ram count, I don't know how, but Sony needs to reduce the ram, having in game xmb is probably gonna have the ram count shoot up another 20MB...

This is incorrect. You are writing this based on opinion and assumption.

The XMB always opens up for me in well under 30 seconds. That's if I'm turning the system on or exiting a game. Also I hear the XMB takes up around half as much ram as it did when the system came out without sacrificing any speed. That last bit may be BS, though.

I love the XMB userface. It's sleek and easy to navigate, with everything you would need under it's respective category. First time i used it was on the PSP and it was a fun 10 minutes checking on where everything is and memorizing.

guys guys, i have all 3 systems and i like all 3 of them to be honest, they are just different, i dont particularly favour the ps3 in presentation, but i do konw one thing, i know where everything is on that xmb, its easy , where as 360 looks nice and cool but to be honest it does take me a few moments to where i want to.

wii is hardly anything awesome, it works perfect with the controls just like a gun con on time crisis,

as again for the xmb, i feel as if i get to what i need to in a flash, and it would take me longer on the 360 dashboard

Well, I know how to tie my shoes and wipe my butt, so yes, I'm fine with XMB.
