ORIGINAL: slapshotsaint Anyone think or know if they will patch the game so kids can have an easier time with it? As an adult I cant even get through it , it doesnt seem to jump correctly or the camera angle goes off. None of my kids or kids i know can play it and just go for the user generated levels but there isnt much there and many of those dont work either.. Perhaps this is why the sales are tanking.. It's not designed to be easy. I think the jumping mechanic is fine. It gets a lot of criticism but in all honesty I think people just get irritated because they can't do a particular section - if the jumping were less "floaty" it would still be just as hard to make the jumps. "None of my kids or kids i know can play it" - I don't exactly know what you mean by this... of course they can play it. Playing it just involves moving and jumping around. Of course they can complete the first few levels - if they can't well there's really no hope because those are about as simple as gaming gets. If they get stuck on a particular section, well, that happens in all games. It's only more recently that games have started to have the push-over easier-than-easy difficulty modes so that a baby could complete it. Furthermore, the minigame levels you _can't_ fail, or rather, you have to, and you go for a high score. These kind of levels are tremendous fun because it's all about competition between players, not against the level itself. It's difficult to make a good level, but then, making a level is a matter of _design_, and no matter how intuitive you make the controls, that's always going to be difficult. The only thing they might be able to patch is to give you infinite lives/more lives at each checkpoint. I don't think the game is overly difficult though. Maybe you and your kids just need practice
