They've canceled the idea of selling both of these together correct? Seems a shame given that MGO is not very big and it would be one way to get much support for the game after the Beta.

As long as they don't sell it for $60 on it's own, I'm sure I'll be picking it up.

Who said that? It's always been said that MGS4 would come with the MGO starter pack. Did they change that or something?

That's what I've been wondering about. Anyone know what's suppose to be in the starter pack? Links to info?

comes with the basic mgo.

then they will upgrade mgo with new maps modes and stuff thru ps store.

you can upgrade your character and buy different special items from KONAMI Store

Hmmm... almost sounds like the EA Strategy to me. Nickel and Dime players for arbitrary items and boosts.

They never cancelled selling MGO with MGS4 The MGO is just a starter pack with the basics of the game. There will be stuff for MGo on the PSN store later for it though.

From Konami's MGO website:

"MGO is made up of a starter pack and expansion packs.

Included with MGS4, the starter pack offers players a first bite of what awaits in the new MGO, while various expansion packs (planned to be released periodically after official service begins) will add additional maps, characters, and other features.

Details of the expansion pack release schedule will be announced at a later date."

Sadly no pricing info or weapons info. Wish there was a bit more, but I guess in time there will be.
