Hear me out...  Back in 2001, I played MGS2 on the PS2.  I pretty much lost interest in the game after fortune blew up *something).  (yes I know it was early in the game, but I am not a big fan of Jap (anime) as I saw it at the time.

Years passed....

2008 rolls around.

I hear all the buzz about the upcoming MGS game.  I am happy to hear about an exclusive, yet remember what was 7 yrs ago.

I decide I am sick of blockbusters insane fees and sign up for gamefly.  Knowing that MGS4 is a week away, I decide to play Snake Eater.

I get my first Gamefly in the mail and two days later, after picking my jaw off the floor, I realize that GMS3 is one of the best games I had ever played.

A week later, MGS4 comes out with raging reviews.  I go buy a 5 dollar copy of MGS2 to catch myself up on the series.  (i personally hated the game other than the Snake portion.... Yet it gave me a story line (I don't give a flying F about Emma personally))

So I started playing MGS4.  Every part I seemed to have a gripe about was taken care of (Camera angles etc,) One of the most wonderful games I have ever had the chance to play.  So, this brings me to my problem.  I just got left off in shadow moses.

I don't want Snake to end....  I actually just started another game on Boss Snake because I want the experience to go on longer.

Should I go with my SM save? or should I have fun (and a long time) going on the hard setting?

I am a big fan of 3 and 4 at this point.  I want to savor it.

you might want to put a soiler warning. Anyways I suggest you finish it right now and play through it again in hard mode.

    EDIT: ah, gotcha

if you find it too easy right now just start a fresh new game on Big Boss Hard
or you could just finish off what you've started and then replay it on BBH trying for No Kills, No Alerts or finding all the Easter Eggs.
I'm on my 3rd round going for the No Alerts this time, then i'll get the Assassin's outfit and so on and so forth.

Beer's seem to make you come up with some things, to tell the truth I don't know what SM is. but i can translate it to my "original save on normal diffaculty setting"   I hope that N4G is alcohol friendly

lol, at first i didn't understand SM but then i reread your post and you said you stopped at Shadow Moses so i put 2 & 2 together. *lighbulb*

but yeah, just finish what you started and go for the 2nd round finding easter eggs or going for the no kills or whatever, there's tons of unlockables

I figure, that the life of the game will increase by re-starting on BBH.  I am not trying for totally stealthy or anything.  I just love this game so much, I don't want to see Him go...

I'm going to play some MGO tonight then start on a new game. I need to know what is unlockable by doing certain things. I am in no mood for 5hr run time with no alerts no kills though so that is out of the question
