im not sure if its a problem with the game or its just no one wants to talk online, iv been playing countless games and not a peep... i just recently made communication with someone via the text box but nothing else... at the beginning of each match i type "hold select to turn on mic" but still nothing.... im not sure but i enjoy a bit of chatter during online games.... makes the online experience better, with it ... its like ur all alone and u can make tactics and tell ur team where the enemies.. etc. samething with the battlefield BC demo out of like 25 games iv only heard voices 2 times... but when i said somthing no one responds, do you have to toggle it in Battlefield(if so which button). in MGS4 the game and hear me, its shows that, so i know its not broken.... i wish there was a ps bluetooth device that came wiht the playsation3 so everyone whould have a mic...

if you have a headset or a PlayStation eye, set it up and start talking.... the more the merryier... it will be LEGEN... wait for it..... DARY

Be sure to adjust the mic settings in the options menu. I had those same problems.

Most people don't know hot to turn the mic on.

hey i had trouble working this out to begin with so searched on the net...i found out that to turn it onw hilst playing hold the select button until it says voice chat activated :) spread the word...poor mic system...why not just have it on all times like all other games? why would you have your headset on...but not want to talk? lol i guess hideo wants us to think about everything...anyways hope this helps

When you hold select make sure it says VOICE CHAT ON in the bottom left of the screen. Then you can let go of select. You have to hold it down for about 1-2 seconds to toggle it on and off. If your voice doesn't feed through, change the Mic recognition to a bit higher.
