What's up people, I wanted to get the opinions about who is the top pound-for-pound MMA fighter out there.
(for those of you who are into MMA)

I am an even bigger MMA fan than I am a video game fan

The debate is about Fedor Emelianenko vs Anderson Silva. My vote is for Fedor and here is why:

Fedor's record is 28,1,1 (wins,loss, no contest)
the no contest was due to a headbutt between him and Antonio Nogueira which resulted in Fedor getting cut and the fight being stoped.
the loss should have also been counted as a NC because it was due to an illegal elbow by he opponent which also cut Fedor
Fedor later fought him again and won so technically Fedor has NO losses.

On the other hand A. Silva has 3 legit losses to unranked opponents

For a heavyweight Fedor is short, he is only 6' tall, even Anderson Silva is taller than him (6'2")

some notable Fedor wins are: Cro-Cop(who himself has beaten Josh Barnett 3 times, Wanderlei once, and the 350 pound muscle bound mosters that is Bob Sapp), Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira the current UFC heavyweight champ (twice), Mark Hunt(who has beaten Cro-Cop), Babalu, Mark Coleman (twice),

Apart form that Fedor (230lbs)has also beaten 4 people who were much taller and heavier than him (7'2" 350lbs) (6'7" 390lbs) (6'11" 256lbs) (6'8" 260lbs,Tim Sylvia)
A.Silva has never fought anyone much taller and heavier than him(he fought James Irvin at his normal weight, he admitted that he normally walks around at just over 200 lbs) Silva likes to lose weight so that he can compete in a lower weight class and out-match his opponents.
when silva beats Forrest Griffin and Rampage then i'll consider him one of the best (not the best)

Taking all that into account it is easy to see why Fedor wins out but I would like to hear what you guys think.

Also Fedor's next fight will be against Adrei Arlovski (one of my favorites) on Oct. 11 of this year, I think it will atleast be a longer fight than Fedor/Sylvia but Fedor will win. I would also like to see Fedor fight Josh Barnett, Brock Lesnar, Brett Rogers (from EliteXC), and Kimbo Slice in Miami(just to see the fans go crazy)

I would also love to see Andrei Arlovski vs Mirko "Cro-cop"

My favorite fighters are: Fedor, Rampage, Cro-cop, A. Arlovski

They are both really good, but im gonna say Silva. Because hes been so dominate in the ufc.
