@ Snake: There's ways around all the decryption crap. I used to have an iPod Shuffle back when the first came out. It's the same premise though. I don't remember the site, or how I got past all the protection BS, but I did. You do have to use iTunes for everything though...

ORIGINAL: RyokoSparda I got a Creative Zen Vision M 60gig version, I got it because I wanted to put all my music on a player and watch films and stuff too, I didn't want an Ipod because they are rubbish, so I got the Zen Vision M. it is very nice, black and shiney with an excellent quality screen, I can read subtitles easy on it and there is no blurring during motion, the sound quality is excellent as well, the TV out function is perfect, you wouldn't know it was coming from an MP4 player, the FM radio reception is also excellent. I use it at home when I am bored/chilling. [image]local://2175/2D37421130864DB59220D795BC169C1D.JPG[/image] I have this exact same model. I love it to death. When I feel my PSP is too bulky, or I don't feel like listening to games, I use this to download my podcasts and I carry that with me instead.

Along with my new PC (thanks for the $2100 tax return, US government) I've been thinking of getting a new MP3 player because my ipod is getting old and worn out, and this one is about as high on my list as they get. The thing is, I think I've been spoiled by the form factor (especially the thinness) of my 30 gb ipod (about as thick as the top screen section of a Nintendo DS Lite) and I don't want something significantly bulkier. How thick these things? In pics they look almost as thick as the other half of a DS Lite, and that would be a bit of a turn-off for me. Just thought I'd ask someone who would know from experience. And Zonetrooper, you'll like your ipod. For as much **** as I talk about my ipod, it's one of those things I never leave home without.

Yeh, I would of gone with Creative most of the time but they have stopped selling the Creative Zen Vision M in the shops which is weird, the Zune is not sold over here so I was left with fewer options and the Ipod was the way to go for me tbh. I just hope that I won't get a faulty Ipod which alot of people talk about. Batteries dying fast and the backlight not working well etc.

I had a Creative MuVo S200 before but now I just treat it as a portable drive. It’s good in the sense that it does not need battery in order to copy data. Other than that, sounds are normal and guess I just don’t like gadgets with AA or AAA batteries. I now owned Sony NWA and the sound is great. I don’t have to purchase another earphone as the supplied one is sufficient. I personally don’t like the idea of copying music through Sonic Stage.

I'm loving the 80GB Ipod, I usually hate Apple products but this 80GB Ipod Classic is indeed excellent and its a little bit thinner than the 5th Gen Ipod Videos.

I started out with a 6gig iPod Mini. Yes MINI, non of this nano-chromatic nonsense . The battery started to die though (only lasts about an hour now) so I imported an 80gig Zune. Which has worked great since I got it. I've had a few problems with the software though that even caused me to have to re-install my OS because it would crash every time a podcast finished downloading. Really annoying when you're trying to listen to N4G's internet style radio program.

80GB Zune owner here. I used to own a Creative Vision: M 30GB, but it was stolen a couple years ago. It's a shame that Creative stopped making these players, because they were seriously the best MP3 players on the market. I will soon be selling my 80GB Zune, and will replace it with a 120GB Zune. My 80GB is currently maxed out and I still have about 3000 songs I need to load on it.

Those albums that I purchase, I replace the downloaded versions with ripped versions @ 192kbps. I don't purchase music through online stores unless that's the only way an artist will supply their music.
