MSG4 Difficulties - Jun.-27th-2008 13:36:27

I am just about to start my second run through of MSG4 and want to know what the deal with the two new difficulties are? Do the enemies cause more damage? Does the game end when discovered? is there even a radar?

    The One new difficulty is The Boss Extreme.

    Enemies' hearing/visual range is increased, and you cannot buy any non-lethal ammunition. You can hold less ammo/items as well, and you take more damage. In some areas, there are more enemies. Stress meter goes berserk more easily.

    Everything else is the same.

    The enemies are smarter...MUCH SMARTER. They have like eagle eye vision and can spot you from a mile away lol. Its not that bad but in comparison to normal difficulty, the enemies are a lot smarter. Plus you can't hold as many items, battery zaps faster and you can't buy some certain ammo from drebin. You lose stress and psyche easier too.

    yep all true i havent really compared the stress in boss extreme to the stress in big boss but it is alot harder especially in stealth on big boss it took me 33 hrs to beat the game.

    I find it faster with stealth. I got through TB Extreme in 4 hours fairly easily. I only take a long time if I decide to kill a lot of people.
