It will have local multiplayer but I'm pretty sure that Robert Bowling recently said there won't be co-op or something along the line...

And what do you mean by 2 players online locally? Like as in split screen online? If so, then no it will not have that...

Yes, I believe that it has local co-op, and multiplayer. Give me a few more minutes and I will get a link

Edit: Here is a link saying that there will be local co-op. I am too tired to find a link with proof of the local multiplayer, but I heard that it runs on the same engine so I believe that it should

Get it. And yes, there is local co-op and (for the first time) online co-op. There is no split screen online co-op, however.

No, as I originally said it would have it. I was thinking as in LAN but then I realized that you probably meant split screen online... Sorry for the confusion

Resistance 2 did that. And I never heard mw2 being able to.
