ORIGINAL: PS360WII Hey I like the turbo on the R2 button. It makes more sense and easier to use! it does not... BLASPHEMY.... sorry man, when you've been playing the game as long as i have, and have the core buttons moved around, it hits a nerve. I went apesh!t when they changed the switch player/ turbo buttons on defense to the ones used for offense. on defense, x used to be change players and o was turbo... but nooooo.. they had to change it. Also i like the fact that you had to choos the right side to siff arm or juke. I like the fact that you could switch the ball to the other hand to avoid strips and stiff arm. Its getting too gimicky now, all this one touch stuff to do different things. I want my old madden back, back to the ray lewis times, where defense ruled, and strafe (r1) was the button of champions. I agree with you buddy. But also to note, I felt the exact same way you did about the button layout until I manually changed it back to PS2 controls. I must say, that EA's button layout is far more intuitive due to the engine of the game. Hitting X and juking with the shoulder buttons is harder on next gen than current gen. However, defense is something that's hit or miss. But I consider myself a defensive expert and can shut down the majority of opponents I play with clean, straight defense and great stick skills. aw man i knew you could change, i just couldnt find it, try as i might, i could never find where to change the button layout. I think i just gave up when the opening scene would come on, you know wher you have the birds eye of the stadium with music and all that, yeah well when that studdered, i knew this madden wasnt up to par for me, that and the onine was so frustrating, online lag topped with programming lag.. i couldnt handle it.
