"An eyewitness said the victim was stabbed 50 or 60 times by the man sitting next to him, who then severed his head with a large knife."

Mr Caton, the bus driver and a trucker who had stopped at the scene boarded the vehicle to see if the victim was still alive.

"When we came back on the bus... he was cutting the guy's head off and pretty much gutting him up," Mr Caton said.

"He calmly walks up to the front [of the bus] with the head in his hand and the knife and just calmly stares at us and drops the head right in front of us," Mr Caton said.

Other passengers said that the attacker and his victim were sitting at the back of the bus and the victim, described as around 20 years old, was listening to music through headphones.

Yeah sadly this happens a lot in this world. I read an article about the Caribbean having random attacks on women in buses taking their heads off. This world is crazy.

I do feel bad for this guy, I was actually at work when i first heard about this and the first thing that came through our minds, fine mine, was "There can be only ONE!"

Not that I'm expecting you to believe me, but yes. I'd be ashamed of myself if I just stood there and did nothing to help the poor guy. Besides, for all witnesses' knew, he could have simply moved onto the next victim once he'd finished with him.

I'm with you...I think I would instictivley try to help.

the victim and the killer were the only ones on the bus.

But we Canadians have to admit, we don't have many crazy killings, but when we do, we top EVERYONE

But to stab someone 60 times is going to take a while, someone should have been able to do something by the time of the decapatation.

Totally agree with Shankle on this. To bad they don't have capital punishment up north. I can believe that the others on the bus just let that happen people just don't care anymore they just go about there own life never noticing what is going on around them.
