Status: offline 		Wow, this must have singlehandedly saved Sega from bankruptcy. Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games has sold 10 million copies on Wii and DS. I have no words to say except. hardcore Sega games dead confirmed . Here's the blurb from Kotaku apparently another game thats not Mario and Sonic at the Olympics but still features both characters is being made.

Status: online 		Wow... I can't imagine why it sold so well... </sarcasm> Why are people so surprised? Seriously... It's the Olympics NEXT MONTH. Anything officially endorsed by the Olympics is going to sell right now. And above and beyond that, we also have the whole "Mario and Sonic promote healthy diets and active lifestyles!" crap - which a lot of parent's are more than happy to go for. xD

Any game with both Mario and Sonic will sell. All the latest Sonic games have been mediocre to crap and they have still reached about 2 million lifetime sales.

Sonic and the Secret Rings has had pretty good legs so far, its still in the top 50 in most places and the top 20-30 in Europe where Sonic is big. I could actually see about 4 million lifetime sales for it as the game isn't total crap, its actually selling on par with Mario Galaxy right now, but Mario had a much larger opening.
