Most Hype/Anticipation For Any Game EVER - May-8th-2008 12:10:51

Status: online 		Personally for me...it would have to be MGS4. Now i hardly every used to follow game release dates before i just used to play whatever was available at EB at the time. MGS4 however has been on my radar since the moment i beat MGS3.

For me hype for any game would be
1. MGS4
2. GOW2 (God not Gears)
3. GT5
4. Ninja Gaide 2

As you can see i don't get hyped for games too much.

In the old days never really followed games that closely. GOW1 was probably most responsible for converting me into a hardcore gamer.

Status: offline 		Back in the day, I oogled at Dino Crisis until release. That's a classic, right there.

I have to say, MGS4's hype for me is steadily increasing... I'm suddenly wanting all the answers, all the secrets in the story to be revealed.

I think, overall, my top 3 would be:

1. GTA IV (mostly lived up to the hype)
2. Uncharted (I hyped it more than the media did; it went well beyond)
3. God Of War II (well beyond the hype as well)

But FFXIII is steadily rising on my hype chart.

 Probaly Pokemon, Yellow Pikachu Edition was the only game I was super hyped back in my kiddie years.

3. MGS4 (would rate higher than CC but I spent the money importing CC, playing half in Japanese then buying it again in English)

Mine would be

1-Eternal Darkness 2 ( I wasn't looking forward to the 1st one, cuz I thought it was just a cheap Resident evil/DLegacy of kain ect. w/e....But then I bought and played it...
I fell in love )
2-Legacy of Kain Sequal one of my most fav series yet...

and for the one that actually is comming...

Ninja Gaiden 2

God of War. I know its not the greatest game ever. But i was kind of an on and off gamer back then. Was more a PC gamer back then but GOW put that PS2 controller in my hand and been running with it since.

Don't get me wrong, Gears was great. IMO best 360 game and probably best game this gen but just doesn't have that impact GOW1 had on me. I should also add NG2 on that list.

10 worked out great however I almost cried at how bad 12 was

at the moment my magic hype pointer points at MGS4, FF13, God of War 3, LBP, Fallout 3 and Soul Calibur 4

as for games that haven't been announced yet- it would have to be Timesplitters 4 (massive TS fan, I consider the series better than Halo) closely followed by the FF7 remake and ZOE3
