To whom it may concern,

N4G has always been a great site for gamers. However recently, i've noticed a specific Xbox 360 ad, which plays an loop of annoying buzzing sound over and over and over and over again.

I am a devote reader of N4G and i check this site anywhere from 5-10 times a day (check my IP history if you don't believe me). Yet this ad is driving me nuts, A website should have annoy its readers and I should not have to mute and then subsequently unmute my speakers everytime i check my favourite gaming site.

Therefore, I will give N4G 7 days to remove this ad before i quit N4G forever. Do i really think you give a shit? No, not really. I do realize that the ads provide money which supports the website. HOWEVER, im sure there is MORE then enough other companies who would advertise here.

Please prove to me N4G is not really N$G.

I haven't seen this ad (yet) but surely blaming the creators of the ad would be more applicable than blaming N4G.

It does lead me to wonder, does N4G pick it's adverts, or does an advertising system do it? In which case there's nothing anyone can do.

That seems a bit drastic.

But that add is really annoying, there isn't even a mute button on the add or anything. To be fair though pressing refresh normally gets rid of it.

The admins control what adverts will appear on this site mostly. Contact Dusty and inform him about this advert, also I'm very doubtful your actually gonna leave N4G and for that matter, pretty poor threat eh?

Such a poor customer relations policy.

We try and block out all ads that auto playes audio. The ads on N4G is served by many different ad companies so we do not have complete control over what ads are shown. I have not seen this Xbox ad myself, but I will try and track it down.

If anyone could post the redirect url and and the url of the landing page that would make it much easier for us to track down which ad network that host the ad.

I fail to see the sarcasm or joke in her statement.  On the contrary, I see the cold hard truth.
