Basically we will use this list to keep track of us N4G members in the beta. If you get in put a msg in here and i will add you to the list so we can keep track of ourselves. Beta download will be available from April 17th, as soon as the new PS Store is available however the gameplay won't start till April 21st and it runs till May 5th. Yes i know it collides with GTA4 but you got 8 days of good play before GTA hits so make due with that.
For those looking at Gamestop for a pre order, rumor has it they will get them in on the 3rd or 4th so keep harrassing them. As of now it appears Gamecrazy has them in. If you get it feel free to share where you got it from in order to help other N4G members who will be looking to get in.

Update: There is apparently a way to get a beta code without pre ordering the cd. Not 100% sure if this will work with your NA PSN account but it should work if you have a JP PSN. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10470066&postcount=1

Determination. If you have a gamecrazy near you i suggest you give them a call to see if they have the dvd's in. As of now gamespot doesn't have them yet but rumor has it they will get them in this week so call and harrass your local gamestop. They will come in limited quantities so if you haven't preordered yet, there is a good chance you won't get in because they will be distributing the dvd's based on earliest pre orderes. However gamecrazy seems to have them right now. Apparently there will be other places getting them but until they actually start ariving it is hard to tell where. So just be on the lookout

I generally never preOrder games, but there are exceptions like this one when they offer a special "gift" to those who preOrder. Then being a MGS fanatic i just can not resist.

i would do the beta but i can just wait because i can't dedicate to much time to the beta considering i'm home only for the weekends. I'm going to preorder to get the dvd though.

I'm in. And yeah, Gametrailers.com says that if you get the code from the Japanese site you'll have to download the beta from the Japanese store. So if you haven't already set up a Japanese account get to it!
