ORIGINAL: LinuxGuru I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no clue about whom to speak with in regards to becoming a moderator. With many thousands of members here at N4G, I was wondering how you manage to moderate (on a timely basis) all posts and happenings with such a teensy-weensy staff? I would gladly become a part of N4G moderators. Yeah, so my comment history has not necessarily been shiny and clean like new chrome on a Harley Davidson, but I figure the best way to get to know the people here at N4G, and the site in general, is to become one of you. I'm tired of being one of the mass general public. I want to help N4G become a better place. This site is still technically in beta form, yet it is one of the most visited gaming sites around, albeit N4G does receive some forms of outside (and inside) criticism due to extreme fanboyism and infighting, and low-quality news submissions. I'd like to become a positive influence here at N4G, and I'm willing to go above and beyond Contributor status! Maybe my potential moderation contributions can help make a dent in some of the serious issues we have here. Sorry once again if this is the totally incorrect way or place to ask. Thanks. - John I agree with you there, being a mod would be great, I'd also love to help make this site better, especially since i see alot of the spam posts/comments like within the minute they're created and it would be nice to be able to get rid of them lickity split We only appoint new mods when both the admins and moderators feel that someone needs to be replaced due to being inactive, not doing thier job etc or for a simple reason such as this site is getting bigger and I think we could have a bigger staff to cope with future problems. At this moment there is no positions open to become a moderator or admin, maybe in the future there will be.
