New PS3 Logo Sucks

All new games coming out from now on is going to have that new PS3 logo on the case, instead of that spiderman font one. Pretty gay

ya now my collection is split on two but i wouldn't say the new logo sucks...its kinda growin on me i just wish they had started with one design and stuck with it. Not a HUGE deal though in the end

I was annoyed with it at first, but I quickly got over it. What's great for Sony, is it's more noticable in ads. I always notice "PS3" now instead of Xbox 360. It works.

I like the new branding, looks ok to me, i like both. And what tret said.... It Sticks out way more then Playstation 3 dose in the walmart game section compared to Xbox 360. Its lucky for MS that they choose to fool the consumers with "XBOX 360" and not call in what it is XBOX 2 cuz if some soccer mom that wasnt told what to buy sure would not buy product #2 sitting next to product #3. But its works so w/e.

I kind of like it. I like the spiderman font on the original ps3, but for the games, it's much better and noticeable.

Well IMO the logo looks better and from a marketing standpoint it is much more effective because it's clearly visible, redeable and simple.
The logo now looks much bigger on multiplatform ads and that's enough to ditch the old spider man logo. Also it looks more in line with PS and PS2 logos so it's actually more in line with the brand now.

yea i also don't like the new PS3 logo. i would have liked it more they if would have at least kept the playstation 3 on the side of the cover.
