i know that they are supposed to be motion control...but can anyone add anything else

Are you talking about the "PSphere"?  What else do you want to know other than its just like the Wiimote but with a illuminated ball at the top?

lol its just they say it took years of development so surely it must be a bit  more than just a bit of motion sensing...like cool buttons and awesome flashy lights...or just sumin reallly cool

Well it does have flashy lights...its what makes the PSeye tracks the motion of the controller.

oh ok...lol i guess i should have considered the fact that it would have had to be made compatibly with other hardware of the PS3
