RE: New site bugs - Tuesday, August 12, 2008 8:08 AM
I would just like to say that the 'Daily Limit Indicator' is not working properly for me. Just a few minutes ago,it indicated that I had
reached my limit of 34 submissions and that I would be able to submit in 1 hour 16 minutes. I tried again after a few minutes and was surprised
to be able to submit 3 more articles despite the fact it clearly indicated I couldn't, It is happening very often lately and is misleading.
I don't want it to stymie my submission rate with incorrect information and imposed blocks.

Edit: Tried again,happened again.

This happens to me as well, I've guessed that it is off by one hour.  Seriously, though, stymie your submission rate?  I think all of us in the top 15 just need to take a deep breath.

This is most likely just me but i can't go to articles because the link doesn't show up and i can't post comments since the page doesn't show anything below the paragraph of text about the article

i'm not sure if this is a server issue or a bug but it'sa fairly common on this site for me to click on things and for the page not to load. Often this occurs when commenting. I will click the post button and it will just sit there. Most times i've gotten used to typing what i have to type. Copying it and closing the window, reopening the comment window and quickly pasting and hitting post. This seems to work but every so often i'll forget to do that and lose a comment.

just posting this experience.

http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-261126.aspx?CT=1&Page=2&Page2=2#C1946635

I noticed this bug when I used the Latest Actions section to see a story I commented on.

Basically, if you switch to Open Zone, it'll say Showing: 51 - 6 of 6 Comments. This doesn't happen if you go to Page 2 in the Gamer Zone comments, then switch to Open Zone. I assume N4G has a flag it checks when you view it the "normal" way, but that doesn't exist since you bypass the normal loading by going directly to a comment on a page besides the first one.

1. I think there may be a bug among the 'Active Threads' column panel. For some odd reason, I've noticed bumped or recently commented threads not getting bumped up the column panel.

2. Here's a strange one, I don't know if it has happened to anyone else. I was browsing the site as normal and I noticed my mainsite user control panel had me appear as if I logged in as this member (including username and avatar):

My initial  impression was "WTF!?". I refreshed the screen and everything was back to normal. I wish I could have taken a screenshot when it happened so I'm not sounding as credible like Rush Limbaugh.

Try submitting an article~2c and picking a console. Then instead of typing the name of the game and clicking search~2c type it and press Enter.~3cbr~3e ~3cbr~3e You should notice it finds the game~2c but the add/remove buttons are gone. The only way to fix this is to redo the submission process all over again --- refreshing won~27t fix it.~3cbr~3e

I get this when I try to submit news or tips. I've cleared all my cache, cookies, etc. etc. Tried several different browsers even. Same issue.
