Touched up or not

Its really hard to tell because the screen isn't as high res at the other screens but assuming it isn't i have to say i was a little dissapointed. Still looks A lot like gears 1. Sure there are improvements but not like i expected after listening to that podcast that said they have so much color in it now e.t.c.

Don't get me wrong its a fantastic looking screen if not touched up but epic has a long history of touched up screens

I looks pretty good but I wont decide if its touched up or not yet. Im waiting for some gameplay footage to come out I heard the footage will be shown in may.

It says new screenshots but I only see one. What gives?

theres a surprise.

We need high res shots + video before we start getting dissapointed.

Look at those worms in the gameinformer scans; then set your mind back to the soft body emulation (cube of meat and silver sphere) UT3 demos. Combine the two. you have some pretty impressive stuff right there.

Well i still though the worms looked like gears of war 1. I guess we will just have to wait for the videos. At first i didn't expect a huge jump but after listening to game informer podcast they said there was a huge jump.

Not that it was in gears 1. The screens i saw were poor quality though i have to admit the worm looks pretty cool. It would be interesting to see soft body physics applied to it

I don't think we'll be seeing gameplay for a while, when the game's near completion. People are expecting a lot from the game, Epic are probably thinking that they need as fair a representation of the finl quality as possible.

Personally, I'm not expecting anything amazing like at the time of the first game's release, but Gears of War 2 should be a fantastic game nonetheless.

i dont think you can really tell of the quality of the game with this screenshot here, simply because it is too small and does not really look in game, it looks too good
