I asked for clarification, wondering if Mattrick meant Bungie’s project was “Halo Wars” or the long-announced Peter Jackson “Halo” project. Neither, Mattrick said. The Bungie game is something else.

I really hope this is true I cant get enough halo. My number 1 multiplayer game followed by gears of war at number 2.

Awesome news, I hope Bungie keep on making Halo games, the universe is incredibly deep and has an infinite amount of possibilities to explore

Why is it, that in all the Halo trailers involving what the Marines do, the scenarios look 10x cooler than the ones in the actual game, when you're playing MC? Perhaps they should make a squad-based or simple tactical FPS based around you playing a Marine, but in large-scale battle situations.

I just want Halo to be good again, I thought the last two were, not bad, but run-of-the-mill, just above average. Unless you really care about online multiplayer, and don't really care for depth that much, the Halo series is starting to decline. Not in sales, of course, but we all know that sales do not make a good game.

Poor Sony fan ? I have played Halo 1, 2 and 3 and it is clear that the franchise is getting worse with every Halo game released, no doubt it will sell a huge amount of copies and will be claimed the best thing since sliced bread. I really like Halo 2 but Halo 3 came along and ruined the franchise.

Perhaps because the universe is endless, but the story of Halo really isn't that great :/
