Fortunately for me, I don't work in an office. I didn't go through all that crap at school to sit behind a desk again...

I kinda figure stealing is stealing, no matter how pretty you dress it up...so, as goody-goody as that sounds...er, i don't take stuff.  I rack up my extra hours as comp time, I'd rather take vacation than paper clips.

Companies virtually accept it as the norm now, so can it really be qualified as "stealing"?

Sure.  Retailers factor theft into their costs, but do you think going all Winona isn't stealing?

it becomes wrong when you feel guilty for it?  (b/c by your argument guilt=excess) so all guilt free theft is ok?

It's only wrong if you get caught!     but no I don't "borrow" from my work.  I can afford that stuff

No, it's not stealing. It's permanent borrowing

Anyway, nothing I can steal from my work, I'd just be stealing from myself

This is reminding me of the movie Office Space.

Stealing is stealing there is no grey area.

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

Well I used to work on a small mini market near my house and my Cuban boss used to piss me off.

Everytime he got pissed off at me and gave me those damn lectures I used to grab a Twix, Snickers, go to the bathroom and do my thing.

Hey I "Need the moment"

Bleh, I should've told his wife that he was cheating on her when I had the chance!
