Indeed. That and Zenonia are a steal combined, 'specially since one is 40 hours long and the other has 40 challenges you spoke of. I'll probably grab Resurrection soon, but I can't be bothered now since I'm strangely kept occupied by 7 Cities.

It's not the deepest of TD games, with only seven unit types and two different types of upgrades for each, but it's very nice looking and has well designed maps (except for the last one that has three separate rivers that all conjoin, ruining the challenge of three different chokepoints by making it too easy to create a choke point where the rivers meet). Topaz is still my favourite map, although that's because it's the only one I've tried and surpassed the 100th wave mark in. For a dollar, can you really complain?

Yeah it is pretty cool that Zenonia has a lite version now.  It is a fun game to try out.  Plus you're right on those dollar games   If they keep you entertained even with just one map can't really complain.

I wonder how much Plants vs. Zombies will go for once it's finished and everything... A tenner, you think? Oh, and are there any other RPGs like Zenonia (or even unlike Zenonia in that they're turn-based RPGs)? I figured I'd ask here rather than search myself since it seems you and Cat scour the App Store daily.

There is Vay which is an old Sega CD RPG.  Then you have Arvale which has two releases and The Quest is a first person rpg.  Dungeon & Hero and Chronicles of Inotia are also worth a mention :)

Not sure what Plants vs Zombies will run.  iPhones pricing is all funky it could be 15 or so bucks on PSN/Arcade and be 5 dollars in the AppStore.

I agree AppStore needs more RPGs   Though seeing you want more like Zenonia it's only fair to meantion next year will see Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories

Well, I'm contemplating taking the dive with a few more games today. Pocket God, MiniGore, Flight Control, Defender Chronicles, Worms and Wolfenstein RPG. Any feedback on them?

Gah... Can't wait for Zenonia 2, though.

Flight Control and Wolfenstein RPG are wins in my book.  Pocket God I just don't get the appeal but for some reason or another there are people who just adore it.  MiniGore is a fun twin stick with updates on the way, never played Worms but if you like the franchise you can't go wrong with it and never played Defender Chronicles either.

Flight Control and Wolfenstein RPG are wins in my book.  Pocket God I just don't get the appeal but for some reason or another there are people who just adore it.  MiniGore is a fun twin stick with updates on the way, never played Worms but if you like the franchise you can't go wrong with it and never played Defender Chronicles either.

I'm mostly getting Pocket God 'cause it's 59p (barely more than a bar of chocolate) and I hear, like MiniGore, it has a lot of free updates... So I guess it's worth the asking price, if nothing else. Besides, my Dad's got it and it seems to keep him occupied. So I figure it'll be something to pass a few minutes here and there while I'm on the bus or something.

I'll definitely make sure to nab Flight Control, Wolfenstein RPG (needz moar, remember? ) and Minigore. I'll leave Worms (I have Open Warfare 2 on my DS anyway) and hope Defender Chronicles is as enjoyable as people are saying.

Ah very nice yeah Pocket God has gotten loads of updates   Though don't be expecting a deep/rich rpg experience with Wolfenstein lol.  You get exp and gain levels but really the only thing you notice with a new level is higher HP.  Still fun to explore and hunt out treasures and secrets all the while taking on the Nazi's with there experiements... hmm just like what I'm doing with the new Wolfenstein  though no level up for me

Ah very nice yeah Pocket God has gotten loads of updates   Though don't be expecting a deep/rich rpg experience with Wolfenstein lol.  You get exp and gain levels but really the only thing you notice with a new level is higher HP.  Still fun to explore and hunt out treasures and secrets all the while taking on the Nazi's with there experiements... hmm just like what I'm doing with the new Wolfenstein  though no level up for me 

While I'm pretty sure I won't read "Level Up! New Special Attack - Super Pwnage Laser - unlocked", I'm definitely sure I won't cry too hard.

Besides, it costed basically nothing. Crystal Defenders alone costed more than five new games I just downloaded.

Oh, and I just downloaded Mecho Wars since I was told it's pretty much identical to Advance Wars. It's also on sale, strangely enough, for 59p/$1. Is it just me, or is everything almost always on sale?

Regardless, I just wasted about three hours on Zenonia. Only thing that stopped me playing was the battery dying.

but I have to say Gangstar is pretty impressive.  Decent sized world and good controls with a few options to try out even.  Well done for an iPhone game.  Gameloft at it again

It's not on our Store yet, so I can't check it out... How much is it, anyway? As for the battery, we need better ones!

$6.99 strange it's not out yet for you.  Should show up eventually though I'm sure.

Finally confirmed for the end of the year... Plants vs. Zombies for the iPhone.

Touch KO is on sale for a dollar thru this weekend!

Oh also found an older app that frees up your memory.  No more restarting for me   Also shows you how much free space you have left and the IP Addresses for you phone and all that.  iStat is the name though it is 2 bucks... so it's up to you.  Also I believe it'll sync up with other computers but only Macs I think though don't quote me on that.

Bah, I bought Doom Resurrection and Star Defense earlier so I'm out of monies on my account 'til Monday (not that it matters, really, since I've got all the games I've been interested in for a while). I'm far from disappointed, though. Doom Resurrection is bloody amazing and, while it's hardly Crystal Defenders, Star Defense is quite enjoyable as well. The whole 3D world thing is pretty funky, kinda like how Savage Moon would play if it used the same camera angle as Super Stardust HD.

I've also started two new saves in Zenonia. One for a Paladin character (I'm concentrating on CON and SPI for that one) and a balanced Warrior (I'll do my best to balance his stats, as opposed to the other two specialists).

Very nice.  Yeah Doom Resurrection is awesome isn't it   interesting note on Star Defense the camera doesn't hinder it though right?
