Cool I keep looking at that Spider game seems neat.  Hope you like the Samurai game and hopefully those games do come out soon   I'm for sure getting Hybrid

Seems fun so far. It's more style than depth, but that's hardly a problem given the price. Alive 4ever is fun, too. The kind of game that could be sold for $4, easily. So having it for $1 is a steal.

Three days and no posts? For shame, Layton, for shame. Anyway, that Dexter game is out. I might check it out in a bit. Apparently, it's pretty damn awesome.

heh understandable   It's only been a little bit since they were submitted... but I've known apps to get denied just for the wording in the discription

they are worth it imo, i got Flight Control on sale when it was $0.99

i need to get into iPod gaming more. 
i prefer the smaller casual games though. i don't see myself getting hardcore games for it.

GeoDefense Swarm finally came out today. Been waiting for it for ages. The intro price is 59p/$1 and there's plenty in it. The hexagonal grid and completely open-ended approach is quite a lot more challenging than I expected, since you really do have to balance building a maze and strengthening your towers... Do too much or too little of one or the other and the creeps will get through. It's a very beautiful game, too.

My only complaint so far is that I haven't a damn clue how each of the seven towers work. It'd be nice if there was an in-game tutorial, y'know? Or maybe a more progressive style of play that, before letting you loose on the 30 different maps, tells you how each tower works one-by-one.

Guess I'll treat the ten maps on Easy Mode as the tutorial, eh?

It would be cool if some of these games did come with some form of a user guide.  Even an online booklet would work as the developers usually have their own website so just throw a link to there that has the info on the game.

Really, I picked it up, sent the bunnies down the hole and was like what, I don't win? Gave the game to Adam, he did the same thing, looked all triumphant. Ah, well...my bunny breeding netted me something like 107 pts.

Out of all the on-sale-for-free games I've got (Boxed In, 2 Block, Shockwave, Memovator, Fling and Wild Wild Train), Fling is my favourite. It's a good puzzler, very enjoyable and it's easy on the eyes as well. Reminds me greatly of those mini-puzzles in Pokémon where you have to shift the ice blocks around to progress.

Not too sure what I think about swarm. The original geodefense is on my top 3 games list on iPhone. I enjoy the premade paths. If anything I was hopig they would just add more levels to the first, or make it so players can make and upload their own maps. I'll keep playing it and try to beat it, but I'm not a fan of the make it as you go levels. As for dezter the game, I'll check it out later since that is one of my favorite shows.

Swarm is interesting, but it's harder than most tower defense games on Easy. It can be offputting that, even on Easy Level 2, you don't get the funds quick enough to stop the enemies taking lives off you after the fourth wave. It's a bit inconsistent too, what with the changing prices of towers and the radically different enemy health values, even on the same difficultly level.

Doesn't the music remind you of the music from Zelda mini-games? Or something...it's stirring something deep in my memory banks.

@ps360Wii yeah, I'm only level 10 now, the timer makes me nervous!!
