Honestly most people here have probably never played it but Demon Souls reminds me alot of Ghosts and Goblins(Arcade/Nes) especially with the fact that when you beat it you end up playing the game again only it gets harder.
I just can't get over how awesome the game is, I think just about every boss I have come up against with the exception of a couple have been more rewarding than just about any final boss in any game i've played this gen yet.
I havent beaten it just yet as i'm taking my time, but I would say King Allant, or the Old King are the hardest bosses i've faced so far.
It does amaze me though the comments some idiots make when complaining about the game. The main draw of the game as awhole has been the difficulty so it makes me chuckle when someone who clearly did not do any research at all complains because the game is "too hard" and makes them want to cry.
The other funny complaint is that it's not Oblivion, which if alot of those people had ever played morrowind they would probably have never touched Oblivion due to the steep learning curve in morrowind. The game is nothing like Oblivion so get over it.
It's just nice when a dev steps up and makes a game pretty much strictly for the "Hardcore" audiance without making any consessions for the casual crowed. I can't wait to see if From Software makes a sequel.
