Cool cool. I'm long overdue for purchasing Rock Band 2, will do that soon!

Alone In The Dark: Inferno on PS3 wasn't too bad. I'd give it a 6.5/10 overall. The music is quite good, the atmosphere works, and the inventory and item combining systems are neat. The visuals are all over the place; some textures are actually detailed and crisp, while others are dull and look rushed. There are plenty of bugs still, there is screen tearing, framerate drops, and a bit of occasional pop-in, but overall it looks decent. The driving mechanics are solid enough, and the 1st-person/3rd-person perspective changes, while they technically work fine, can get irritating.

What does all this add up to? A solid weekend rental. You should be able to plow through it and get almost, if not all, the Trophies in your first play. Do NOT buy it; it has NO replay, aside from going back and skipping through chapters to nab any Trophies you might have missed. The Platinum actually looks pretty cool too, a gorgeous shade of blue, and is fairly easy to get. As a rental, you will enjoy it.
