Again, it's irrespective. It could be Diablo 3 and Activision wouldn't give two ****s - they'll spread games out to maximise sales. I assume they don't want anyone having to pick between Modern Warfare 2 and Starcraft 2. Besides, isn't Battle.net being relaunched around early 2010?

I'm surprised that you're surprised Blizzard delayed a game. I mean, it's Blizzard. When have they ever released a game on time?

Except the first release date for SC2 was Fall 2008, we've already had a lot of delays, and 2 weeks ago they said they were launching the beta before the end of summer, and now it may not be out till like freaking October!

does anyone know whether there will be offline deathmatch ( single player deathmatch against bots) or whether you will have to be connnected, blizzard has said that single player is offline, but does that mean single player campaign only?......my net always goes down/or i always go over my usage ( i get charged for excess usage), so i'm prayer to our cruel blizzard overlords that deathmatch will indeed be offline, i like many others hate playing rts online.....

to wait 10 years for a sequel and not be able to play it because of a stupid internet requirement would be a game breaker and a rock solid reason to not even get it ( even though i want it so badly)
