Beware cheap Xbox games at Gamestop. Google Xbox 360 Compatibility list to get the list of all supported games. They got about 75% of them converted. They stopped converting them after Sorny decided to discontinue backwards compatibility in the 40G PS3 model. I wish they had finished. Who knows, perhaps they'll look at bringing the rest at a later time? Some of those games on the old Xbox weren't ported to PC either. Actually that is one way to gain "backwards compatibility" is by buying the PC version of the old Xbox game. At least you'll have it in some playable form. Another option is to keep using your Xbox. I've thought about turning my Xbox into a homebrew system, so it can play other games, some can even play PC games, in addition to all the arcade ROMs, etc, & likely still play Xbox games as well. But I haven't done much with it. With the 360, they control the "homebrew" aspects via XNA Programming. Soon, they're supposed to allow at least some people to sell their XNA games over XBL. I wish I had spent more time playing with XNA now. Better late than never I guess.
