I can´t belive....
Two weeks ago I claimed my 4-month old PS3 which cooling fan had went crazy.
I got a brand new console. I switched it on yesterday, set my profile and started Motorstorm apprehensively.
Rightfully. After 3 minutes fan started it´s song.....

I´m disappointed and going to claim it again.

Anybody also already had such a "good luck" ?

( by the way, fan problem is caused by defective processor unit and it´s necessary to replace the motherboard )

Nope no fan problem, my PS3 did break but that turned out to be the drive.

firmware update borked mine, but i got it sorted pretty quickly

I don't quite understand your problem. The fan is being loud? That's the problem? Is the game and console still working?
