has anyone else been experiencing this? So far its only happened to me while playing COD, but maybe its because thats the only game ive been playing. During gameplay (online specifically) the screen will freeze and my whole system will then freeze and i have to manually shut it off. Its happened to me a couple of times, and i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else, if its because of the game, or is it because of the PS3 itself

Sounds similar to the GTA4 problem, so it's probably down to the game. I've never experienced this before, though.

CoD4 locked down on me once while playing online, I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the game cuz it's the only time my PS3 ever froze on me.

this has only happened to me twice since i got the game (december-ish). Im fairly sure its the game, not the ps3.

I remember i copied my ps3 save of uncharted from my NA account to my EU account and the game was freezing like crazy. Maybe it has something to do with your game saves

My ps3 done this and turns out it was a problem with hardive and something to do with the new firmware what ever it was infected my whole system sony is sending me a replacement unit
