The concept was shown off 14 months ago, with promises of closed beta for the fall, followed by an open beta.

We're nearing summer of the next year, and there's just a closed beta going on, and Home's been delayed again.

Honestly, do people still care?
I'll admit, initially, I was really interested. It seemed like a cool concept, and would've been something I likely would've enjoyed (I wouldn't have spent the big bucks on my virtual space, mind you). But now, with the constant delays and the fact that I STILL can't get my grubby hands on the thing, I'm slowly just losing all interest. I'm not hyped up for it as I was initially, and the announced delays are just making matters worse.

So....do you still care?

--
One last note....I FINALLY understand what people meant when they said 'This is waiting!' when referring to the PS3.
Honestly, hurry the **** up, Sony.

I care but I've been in these situations before so I understand the delay more than most apparently do. As long as they give us our ingame messaging and music, they can take their time with Home to perfect it or come as close to the functionality of the trailers as possible.

no permanent GM, no Head Coach, and our Captain is questionable..

Go Leafs Go!

I agree with you though, I was never under the impression that HOME would revolutionize anything...but I wanted to see it in action for sure. TBH I've learned that you have to expect delays from Sony...I've been saying since the first delay that they shouldnt't give anything a release date if they're most likely going to miss it. So yes I do care I just find all this delay business pretty pathetic.

and I don't use it...but you gotta admit that "This is waiting" joke is pretty funny lol.

At this point I'm interested in what they come up with. If it means I get to connect with more PS3 users easier, then it'll be worth it in the end.

as for home, i dont get it... talking directly with people I dont know virtually has never really been my thing. There is a whole world outside for that

I did not give a rat's ass about Home when it was popular and I still don't give a rat's ass about it now.

well I like the idea of it bringing an acheivements system to the PS3 and I like the idea of "virtual E3" type conventions in the future, and I also like the idea of games being integrated in their own unique ways AND I like the idea of walking around and playing minigames with people from around the world

I think it will really bring the PS3 community together

and at the end of the day- its free

I disagree with you about Paul Maurice...he did so well with Carolina back in the day and anything is better than Quinn. But I agree with you he had to work with what was given to him..which wasn't much. It's the whole team the old GM built...signing veteran players and trading away drafts picks, we're a bad team now and it won't get better anytime soon.

lol but just because I'm Canadian doesn't mean I can understand all that...who is the Glorious and what's saint flannel?

I'm not eagerly anticipating it, but I'm not doubting I'll cream my pants when it comes... if it turns out to be good.

What I mean is, yes, yes I do care, but... I can easily occupy myself for the time being, and not really think about it at all, whatsoever. But, when it comes, I'll be happy, especially so since we're getting it for free

Toughname, have you changed your name to The Reason For Mods?

Well i care i guess. Not really thinking about it right now but i would like to see what developers manage to do with it. Also it will really expand ps3 online capabilities so thats another big plus. Just wish it would come out so the big games can use it. A shame no home for MGS4, resistance 1 and warhawk apparently have home stuff in place but nope aint coming out till resistance 2 lol

i've never really cared much for home.
the concept sounds cool and the trophy system and maybe the developers "homes" is really cool.
i doubt i would use it much, but who knows.
