This isnt really a pokemon MMO, but its as close as its gets. The game is called Stone Age 2, and I'm in a beta for it right now. It could be a closed beta tho, im not sure. But if anyone is interested, you can hit up http://www.aeriagames.com/ and sign up for/download it.

It might start out slow, as do all games of it's kind, but once u go through the tutorial area, you're pretty much set to go. If anyone does wanna go for it, and gets in, let me know so we can squad up, or we could start a N4G guild if some people get it. I think parties are maxed out at 5 ppl tho. but it is extremely fun when u got some cool ppl goin around killing stuff...and catchin stuff.

It sounds kinda nerdy, but i know a lot of you liked pokemon and wished u could play it without having to own a DS or a Wii(i started a thread on it a while ago and got those answers).i dont think the "pets" evolve tho, but you just keep them until something bigger and better comes around, then u try to catch it and instead of putting your old ones away somewhere(which i think u can do) you can sell it to the pet store, or to other ppl walking around. I just bought some huge thing for $350(this of course isnt real money) and im not even sure if it will listen to me since it is twice my level.

Just get a DS it's the best gaming handheld out! Yet still no such thing as a Pokemon MMO...

thanks for the links though but I'm not interested in getting involved with a MMO just yet. Waiting on Square Enix rumored one

yea i dont normally do the mmo thing but im using it to burn time...prolly wont play once i get BFBC or ncaa football

yeah that's the other thing about MMO's they take time away from the other games

well the beta is public now...the server goes down quite a bit tho, not today tho...ive been playing for a few hours and it seems to be fine

Nothing gets funked up when it happens does it? How many can you have in your possesion at a time?

i never had a server down while i was playing...just when i try to sign on it says stopped...maybe they cut them off at random

but u can carry i think 5...maybe more..and everytime u gain 5 levels, you can battle with more at a time...im at lvl 10, so i can battle with 3 at a time right now...not counting how many the ppl in my party have
