It doesn't work like that, since an Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz is considerably slower than an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz processor. Both CPUs have 2 cores, but one is updated and improved technology.

ORIGINAL: - The Corrupt - How so? Do back up your statement with fact. First off you're using a Foxconn mobo. Can't say I've used them, can't say I've heard good or bad things about them. Next, you have 4GB of Ram and using Vista Premium. I'm not 100% sure but you may not get to use all 4GBs of that ram given that 32bit apps can't use 4GBs. 8800s are cheaper now, but a 9800GTX+ would be worth more. Over all, an ATI card would be better as the Mobo better supports it. USB ports are kinda moot. I have about 10 and really only use 2 (then again I'm not using a printer or scanner) And for the life of me I can't figure out why you're using so many hard drives in the bloody thing. Are you sure you have enough SATA ports to handle it all on that mobo?

Are you sure you have enough SATA ports to handle it all on that mobo? That particular MoBo is actually a decent one. 32 bit OSes can see a MAX of 4GB of RAM. Only 3GB shows in the system properties, but the system will always utilize the 4GB of RAM. The 8800GTX is still a good card, although perhaps an HD 4870 would be better here. As for the USB/HDD issues, I don't care to evaluate that. I would assume some of those HDDs would be external, and the power supply is plentiful, though. I don't see why that system makes you "puke" at all. Oh, and that OS of hers is 64-bit anyhoodles, with 32-bit compatibility. 32-bit programs not using RAM only becomes a problem when you go over 4GB.

The only reasons you have for saying it'll make you puke is that you think I have too much storage space and that my Graphics Card isn't the best? As Satanas said, the 4TB of harddrives are all external and are all practically filled already with all the stuff I have. Hence the need for so many USB ports, given how four will be taken up practically all the time.

ORIGINAL: Satanas The GPU supports HDMI, but I'm going to be converting this crap no matter what. It's no problem to use DVI in 1680, really. HDMI isn't a world of difference as people make it out to be. DVI to HDMI works fine as it's a digital to digital transition. I'm just saying that over all, for a just a little more you're going to get a whole lot more out of your monitor @ 24" over 22". Over all a 24" isn't that much bigger than a 22". Look up the dimentions of each and check it out.
