ORIGINAL: Tempist ORIGINAL: - The Corrupt - The only reasons you have for saying it'll make you puke is that you think I have too much storage space and that my Graphics Card isn't the best? As Satanas said, the 4TB of harddrives are all external and are all practically filled already with all the stuff I have. Hence the need for so many USB ports, given how four will be taken up practically all the time. Thy box is not leet. And I'm willing to bet your case has like fluffy kitties all over it too. :D I think it looks quite nice, actually.

I'm on the interwebs showing of my IRL haxxproof case. The only downside to my computer is I can't use the three upper HDD bays since my 10.5 graphics cards butts up against that part of the case.

I think my PC's specs are alright for what I do with it everyday. However, I shall be returning to PC gaming pretty soon. All I need to do right now is get more RAM and a new video card and I'll be set. I also need to buy another hard drive and install it so I can run Ubuntu on it because I rather not dual boot off a single hard drive.

ORIGINAL: Satanas You're using a 260 right? They're damn huge. Yeah the 260 and the 280 are freaken huge, but worth the monies. Somethings up inside my case so I have to figure out why it's making so much noise, but I really only notice noise when I don't have headphones on or I don't have the stereo running.

Just how big are the 260/280? like GTX big or...bigger O.O? Cuz I was thinking on maybe getting a 260 but was worried about the space since I have a mid tower

Funny thing about the Crysis Warhead requirements. A lot of people don't know this, but the 512 GDDR3 8800 GT is better than the 640 GDDR3 8800 GTS. It's because the 8800 GT (and similarly 9800 GT) lines that you can get now are more powerful than the older GTS - like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143118 vs. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130327 So if you have a 512 MB card better than the 8800 GT (or equivalent to it), you're fine on that requirement. The 640 MB part on that requirement-check you posted is bollocks. By the way, Altis, thanks for clearing up the PCIe 1.0 v. 2.0 and interface size/SLi chipsets thing, I had that completely misinterpreted.

I'd say top-end BFG and EVGA is the way to go for Nvidia. I'm not too sure about ATI...I think SapphireTech, Diamond is good, though.

Just make sure that the drive bays are really close the front of the computer. I had problems since my removable drive bay section is about an inch closer to the back of the PC and that the motherboard sits higher with my power supply at the bottom of the computer. Also the card takes two slots on the board and in the back (the cooling is basically 1 slot the card the other slot.) I wouldn't have had this problem if the 9800+ wasn't taking it's sweet time to hit the markets. But all and all I came out on top.
